The group“Architecture of changing times” was formed in 1982 but established a year later. 5 students who enrolled as architecture faculties of fine arts in Tehran University held the first research meeting on Tuesday afternoon on March 2004.
The first goal of the group was to identify Architecture of changing times And they began to collect information and discus on the collected information at group meetings.
The group "Architecture of changing times" based their studies on pre- Islamic and post- Islamic architecture, they mandated to study documents and resources concerning to architecture of the mentioned epochs, stylistics and respective arts.
Established group hold regular meeting every weeks on Tuesday afternoon, to study collected documents; architecture works and contemporary records of Iran to organize and evolve concerning archive of Architecture of changing times.
We listed primarily the works and architecture documents of effective architects; collected the works and archived them, the process in being continued forever.
It was Mid eighthly when the group decided to develop the investigation; in 1989 began to write analytical history of, Architecture of changing times, to know and analyze concerning domains of architecture to describe main causes of different architecture trends.
The group owned an independent office in 1998, they held their weakly meetings at the office and archived the documents at the independent office. The active group consisted of three individuals in the mid ninety, but it was 1996 when other new fellow workers joined the group to speed up information and document collection process.
The group decided to publish the first book of Nikolai Markov Architecture in 2003. It had hopeful reflection in Iran and in foreign states. The second book of the group named Karim Taherzadeh Behzad architecture, which was published in 2005, and architecture book of Vartan Hevanesian that was published in 2008.
